The importance of video in a cross-media campaign
Why use video as a medium?
Video on websites in-particular, exhibitions and integration into print media are growing in importance. 51.9% of marketing professionals worldwide name video as the type of content with the best ROI midway through 2015. Mobile video plays exceeded 44%, that’s up 74% from 2014 and up a whopping 844% since 2012. Between April 2015 and November 2015, the amount of average daily video views on Facebook doubled from 4 billion video views per day to 8 billion.

See below four great reasons how you can use video…
1. Video Brochures
Putting video into personalised printed hardback books is a great way of making a targeted message really hit home and getting you noticed. All of our brochures are totally bespoke to our clients specifications. It’s the complete package, tactile & digital!
2. Engaging videos on your trade show stand
A well planned and executed video can set your exhibition stand apart from your competitors. Typically planned around a one minute cycle, video presentations can showcase your brand and products and generally rely on text and graphics to convey your message.
3. Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality
Another great use for video is the implementation into a AR or VR project. We work with our clients to fully project manage, build and implement their AR or VR projects. A fantastic and affordable solution for this is Google Cardboard (shown below), which we can fully brand, print and assemble. All the client requires is a smart phone running on the Android or iOS platform. If you are new to VR, why not drop us a line and arrange a demonstration and to see the possibilities for yourself?
4. Video within a SEO strategy
Video can make a significant contribution to your overall SEO strategy. Original video content is not only a critical factor in improving search engine ranking but it also provides an engaging and concise way to promote your company.
So how do I get my video produced?
There’s a saying that two heads are better than one and a creative collaboration is a great way to prove this. During the past year we have worked and collaborated with the team at Indigo Rebel. Take a look at our video showreel to see some recent projects.
