Taste of London – A Celebration of Food, Wine and Imagination

Every summer, Regent’s Park in London transforms into a culinary wonderland for Taste of London. This year, MDCV set out to showcase two of their exceptional wine brands – Silverhand Estate, based in the UK, and Ultimate Provence from the south of France. When they approached Datum, they brought moodboards, concepts, and plenty of enthusiasm. Our role? To bring their vision to life with a standout event space that would attract, engage and immerse.

What followed was a seamless end-to-end journey: from initial brainstorming to design, production and on-site installation. A showcase of creative precision and collaborative project management that brought a taste of British elegance and Provençal flair to central London.


From Moodboard to Reality

The vision was clear: attract, engage and immerse. MDCV wanted a stand that not only looked stunning but functioned as a tasting and chill-out zone. During an energised planning session with their team, we took their initial sketches and built out a full concept suitable for the great British summer – unpredictable weather and all.

Our design team developed a layout that flowed naturally, encouraging footfall, discovery and social sharing. By considering space planning, branding touchpoints, and audience interaction, we created a festival space that was practical, robust and vibrant.


The Final Experience: Designed to Delight

What did the final build include?

  • Dual-Branded Bar: A stunning centrepiece where both Silverhand Estate and Ultimate Provence wines were served.
  • Chill-Out Zones: Featuring branded deck chairs, branded bikes and custom flooring.
  • Interactive Games: Including a bespoke four-in-a-row game carrying both brands’ identities.
  • Atmospheric Touches: Fairy lights, a branded canopy and carefully chosen décor completed the inviting ambiance.

The entire stand was designed to be both functional and shareable – ideal for festivalgoers eager to post their experience on social media.


Full-Service Delivery: Design, Print and Install

Datum handled the entire project lifecycle:

  • Design: Our creative team crafted everything from layout schematics to print-ready artwork.
  • Production: We managed all print elements, ensuring consistency across materials and finishes.
